Scotland is a truly special country to visit, there is just so much to experience and enjoy. Its marvellous scenery, its towns and villages, its castles and grand houses, its churches and cathedrals and its unique history, culture and tradition - all will inspire and delight you.

We have devised 14 different one-day tours for you to choose from, plus Whisky Distilleries tours, Walking Tours of Edinburgh and several one-day excursions to specific destinations. These tour itineraries are all based on tours that we have conducted for various groups in the past, as well as our own ideas.

In fact, there is so much on offer that it is not easy to choose which tour to take. So we have devised a way of matching up your interests with your perfect tour. The Tour Finder to the left groups places into theme areas such as Highland scenery, castles, ruined abbeys, distillery visits, architecture, industrial heritage, etc, and recommends which tours you can enjoy seeing or visiting them. You can click on each of the places shown to get more background information. We hope this will help you to make the best choice to get the most out of your tour.

In designing our tours, our objective was that you should experience a good mix of things during the day - scenery, castles and country houses, ruined castles and abbeys, monuments, historical sites, small towns, distilleries, etc. And of course, all the tours include historical and cultural topics in the guide’s commentary, as much or as little as you would like to hear!

Each of these tours can of course be altered to suit your own interests or preferences. We can discuss alternatives with you and put together a custom itinerary. Contact us at info@toursfromedinburgh.com and let us know your tour requirements, and we’ll see what we can come up with!
