  Perthshire East & West tour

You will really come to appreciate the dramatic contrast between the Lowlands and the Highlands of Scotland on this tour, and experience for yourself some of the most glorious scenery that Scotland has to offer.

We visit Glenturret, the oldest distillery in Scotland, and home of the Famous Grouse Experience, to learn how malt whisky is made, as well as stately Scone Palace, an absolute treasure trove of furniture and art works, the home of the Earl of Mansfield and the ancient crowning place of Scottish Kings.

In the afternoon we pass through the magnificent West Perthshire Highlands, where we see several “Munros” - the name given to Scottish mountains over 3,000 feet (915m) high. This area is home to some of Scotland’s largest lochs and many waterfalls, which cascade down off the hills through the rocky glens, especially after prolonged wet weather.

This tour will undoubtedly leave a long-lasting impression on you, so if you only have one day to spend, and you really want to get a flavour of Scotland, of all the tours we offer we recommend you take this one.
