Welcome-banner-5

We offer an interesting and exciting selection of private day tours from Edinburgh for small groups of up to 8 people. You will travel in a late-model people carrier (minivan) in air-conditioned comfort and be driven by a professional and highly experienced Blue Badge tourist guide.

Edinburgh is a fascinating city, best appreciated on foot, and we also provide walking tours of the city to help you get the most out of your stay. But once you’ve spent a few days exploring the city, we’re sure you’ll want to see some other parts of Scotland as well. There’s a lot to see within a short distance from Edinburgh, and it’s quick and easy to get out of the city into the surrounding countryside.

We aim to provide you with a richly informative, involving and entertaining touring experience, and have many satisfied customers, as our testimonials from previous clients will confirm!

History, Culture & Tradition

  Who takes our tours?

A wide variety of people have taken these tours in the past, including whisky enthusiasts and people tracing their family roots, people who are interested in Robert Burns or Sir Walter Scott, and the majority who really just want an interesting and enjoyable day tour to get a flavour of Scotland. So in reality we cater for all tastes, but in particular, these tours are especially ideal for two types of visitor to Edinburgh:

1.

People who only have a limited time to spend in the city, for example who may be arriving on a cruise ship in port for just one day, but who want to see some of the visitor attractions and countryside around the city.

2.

Anyone who prefers to stay in one place, having a base and taking day tours out, rather than a touring vacation. Edinburgh is a great place for this, as there is a good range of hotel accommodation, a lot to see and do in the city itself, and plenty of interesting places that can be reached in a day trip.
